Online Service
Online rehabilitation programme for horses & dogs
A six-week progressive exercise plan with demonstration clips, built around what the assessment shows, tracked with scheduled check-ins through your Equigate client portal as your animal improves.
What It Is
A structured plan, not a generic exercise sheet
An online rehabilitation programme is a six-week, progressive exercise plan built around what a remote gait analysis or online consultation shows. Each exercise comes with its own demonstration clip, so there is no guessing about what good looks like when you are working through it at home.
Progress is tracked with scheduled check-ins through your Equigate client portal as your animal improves, and the plan is adjusted stage by stage rather than followed rigidly regardless of how recovery is actually going.
The Process
How an online rehabilitation programme works
-
01
Your assessment
Built around what a remote gait analysis or online consultation shows, so the programme addresses what is actually going on rather than a generic plan.
-
02
Your written plan
A six-week progressive exercise plan with demonstration clips for each exercise, delivered through your Equigate client portal.
-
03
Scheduled check-ins
Progress is tracked with scheduled check-ins as your animal improves, so the plan keeps pace with how recovery is actually going.
-
04
Progression
Exercises are progressed stage by stage through the six weeks, building on what is working and adjusting what is not.
What's Included
Everything in your six-week programme
A six-week progressive plan

A short video for each exercise, so there is no guessing about what good looks like.
Scheduled check-ins
Regular progress reviews through your Equigate client portal as your animal improves.
A message thread with Megan
Direct access to ask questions between check-ins, rather than waiting for the next one.
Who It's For
When an online rehabilitation programme makes sense
Post-surgical recovery
Structured, staged loading after procedures such as cruciate repair, where controlled progression matters as much as the exercises themselves.
Arthritis & senior mobility
Ongoing, low-impact conditioning to help manage chronic joint pain and keep an older animal moving comfortably.
Outside the travel area
Beyond our in-person radius but still want a structured, MSc-qualified programme rather than a generic exercise sheet.
Following an online assessment
A natural next step after a remote gait analysis or online consultation identifies what needs addressing.
Common Questions
Before you book
If your question is not here, call and ask. It is usually faster than filling in a form.
07817 001834Yes. A remote gait analysis or online consultation comes first, so the programme is built around what is actually going on rather than a generic set of exercises.
Yes, the same legal requirement applies as for any physiotherapy treatment. Tell us who your vet is when you book and we request consent on your behalf before your assessment.
For many conditioning and rehabilitation goals, yes. Where hands-on manual therapy or WINBACK tecar is needed, we will say so plainly and suggest an in-person visit if you are within reach, or guidance for a local physiotherapist if you are not.
That is what the scheduled check-ins are for. You send an update through your Equigate portal, Megan reviews progress, and the next stage is adjusted accordingly rather than following a fixed script regardless of how your animal is doing.
Yes, video consultations and online programmes work anywhere with a stable internet connection. If you are outside the UK, please email us before booking so we can agree a suitable time across time zones and confirm payment. A small number of clinical recommendations are UK-specific, and we will flag those clearly.
